For the most part, I’m a self-taught writer and artist living in Northeast Ohio ever since I was six years old! I have earned my Adobe Certification through a vocational technical school in high school and even was taught through a motion design class during my time at Kent State University. Ever since the age of six, I have always dreamed about becoming an animator but I didn’t know that going to art school for it would be so expensive. So instead I taught myself animation through reading and online course studies! Over the years, I have established a career for myself in the multimedia arts and I’m looking to expand into animation! A major part of my practice involves documenting my process and sharing my experience through my content creation! I enjoy the development stage of any and all work that I do from concept, to storyboard and eventually the final product! I often find it very rewarding when I finish a project that has been in the works for a long time or a project that has a deadline. I have learned some of this knowledge through schooling but for the most part I have learned to use resources online for my own volition and teach myself without other influences.

What you will see here is a series of different art and animation projects I have done and how I’ve created them!

I am passionate about the craft of art and animation! I often spent my time going through different animation schools and their online courses, reading about old style animation and even the art of creating comics as a perfect mix of storytelling and art. A huge dream of mine is to publish my own middle-grade graphic novel one day and perhaps turn it into a kids tv cartoon, as well as help teach kids how to be artists in any medium they desire!

MY ART AND ANIMATION PORTFOLIO!

The following showcase is how I made this cute little Egg animation from just an idea to the final design! The presentation you see will be from idea to storyboard to creation and to the final which you can see projected here! I had a lot of fun documenting my process of making this little egg guy and I thought to share it as with the rise of Ai it’s sometimes hard to distinguish if the art is actually handmade by humans or robots!

THE SERPENT’S CAVE

BACKGROUND PAINTING FOR A GRAPHIC NOVEL IDEA!

“Deep in the forests of Rougenarth, there’s a cave that belongs to a serpent. A perfect place for a princess to gather serpents goo for potions.”

In a future where space science is on the brink of obsolescence, a young astrophysics student must uncover the truth behind her father's disappearance—only to discover that her DNA holds the key to a dormant cosmic force that could bring back space science in greater forms. When she’s abducted by an alien fugitive, the mystery deepens—and the fate of two civilizations begins to unravel in her hands.

ARTEMIS II is a telescope base that the main charcater’s father works for and where she lives! It lies on the top of Crystal Peak, Colorado.

The following are mockup images and moodboards of me using existing images to create a vision of what I think this telescope would look like for my world.

I took inspirations from real life telescope bases like the suburu Telescope in Hawaii and the Cerro Paranal Telescope base in Chile.

First initial background sketch.

MOTION GRAPHICS & ANIMATION DEMO REEL

THE FOLLOWING VIDEO IS A DEMO REEL OF ALL THE ANIMATION I HAVE DONE OVER THE YEARS.

Unfortunately, some files are low quality due to losing the original files to hardware crashes.

I was only able to grab other pieces through my facebook account and facebook likes to lessen the quality of old videos over time.

Regardless of bad quality, I am still proud of these animations I have done through After Effects and Procreate and I still want to share them to the best of my ability.

I still have new animations on the way!

The following piece of animation here is an Art of The Title animation project I produced and made for my motion design class at Kent State University! I did this all in after effects!
